Recent discovered the urban sport of Parkour which was originally started in Paris . (Think : Yamakasi) Kind of like clearing SOC. There was a jeans ad and a fragrance ad that featured Parkour (or "Free running") as well.
the cheap thrill of it was too much to miss….added entries to wikipedia, namely ;
Cristao - my baby which I started from scratch. With kind input from Joan Marbeck and Justin Ee. (see the Examples section and the kristang poem at the end) It’s still sketchy though…
Singlish - added 2 paragraphs to the overview, started the section,"Ordering at a coffee shop", expressions section is 80% mine, added the words "alamak" (anyone knew it’s actually Portuguese?), "shoik" (anyone knew it’s actually Punjabi?), and about 60% of the words there.
Goju Ryu Karate - started the section, "Fukien White Crane", "Kata Bunkai" and "Goju Kai".
Karate - first paragraph of the history section.
Karate Kata - a few lines in the section, "Criticism of kata training"

ok… i’ve done my part….. hmm a blog, what an awful sounding name. Sounds like someone going to cagak (lao sai) or something. A diary is meant to be read by the writer only; with a blog it’s, "Oh look at me! I have a blog! wow! everybody read my personal stuff!" …. there’s an double oxymoron there somewhere….
